This is my fourth obvservation that I have done on the irrigation ditch in my backyard. It is June 3, 2010, and it is 52 degrees and rainy. The soil is wet, and there is no wind. It is very cloudy outside and looks like it will rain. I noticed that there were dandy lions that are growing around the ditch. This is interesting because they werent there last obvseration and there hasent been any sun to help them grow. Also with the dandy lions growing there will probly be more bees around this area. The dandy lions are weeds, so this could stop the growth of plants by the irrigation ditch. My hypothesis for my next obvservation is that it will be sunny so the bee's will come out. The bees will eat the neckter from the dandy lions, and the pollin from the dandy lions will be spread by the bee's.
P.S. You still owe me $5

I think that the bet was unfair, because I never said that I didn't think the ditch would have water! Maybe you owe me $5? The general observations of the changes are there, but the specifics and details about each relationship you have seen (ex: mutualitic relationship between the bees and the flowers) are missing. For your flora/fauna report, be sure to look at these details of the exact niche your oraganism fills! 11/15
