This is my sencond obvservation on the irrigation dich. It is May 26 and the irrigation ditch very moist today. The tempurature outside was around 64 degrees. The soil was very moist, and the dich its becoming less dry. In the first obvservation I noticed that the grass and soil was very dry. Jackson has gotten lots rain sence my last obvservation, and the irrigation dich has gotten very wet and the plants/ grass has started grow. The weather is partly cloudy, and it is moist outside today. There was close to no wind. I think that in my next obvservation the irrigation ditch will start to fill with water and the ditch will be cleaned out. I think this because the farmer that owns the irrigation ditch has horses, and cows on his property, and he will need to start cirulating more water for him animals.
P.S, If the irrigation ditch has water in it in my next obvservation then you owe me $5 .
It is a good idea to focus in on the irrigation ditch and it's impact on the area. Make sure to proof your postings for spelling erros, and try to go more in depth about the significance of what you see. For example, if the area and grass continue to be dry, what impact will this have on the fauna and food chain in your area. Look at the various ecology concepts in order to focus your writing. 11/15
