first observation
The place I pick to observe was the erigation dich outside my house. I observe the erigation dich around 3:00 p.m on May 17. It was around 65 degrees outside and very sunny. The erigation dich soil was very dry because the water is not running yet. This is a very interesting spot because there is lots of vegitaion and wild life that live in and around it. The whole erigation dich is cover on by willow trees that run along the sides of the water. This is home to very many different kinds of life during the summer and the winter. During the summer there are very many plants that grow in and by it. There are usually lots of dandy lions, flowers, and moss. There are animals like frogs, ants and magpies. During the winter when the water is not flowing there are animals that stay in the dich. I have seen moose take cover from the snow storm by laying down in the dich. The moose also eat the willow trees that are on the sides of the dich. I have also seen deer, foxes, and coyotes in the dich. I think between the time of this observation and the next one the erigation dich will fill up with water. This will make the dich wet and the moss and other debree in the dich will go down stream and new life with begin to grow.

Overall it is a good observation regaring the flora and fauns in your area. As you continue, try to make more specific species identifications with scientific names and connect what you see to the ecology concepts. Also, proof your observations for grammar and spelling errors as it should be "irrigation ditch" 13/15
